Zachary Gabelhouse, M.S., Director of Modeling and Statistical
Analysis
Zach is part of ACTON's data department where our clients' mail
routes are developed. A true numbers man, Zach has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Mathematics from Doane College in Crete,
Nebraska, and a Masters degree in Statistics from the University
of Nebraska-Lincoln. Doane wanted to keep Zach's skills, so he
also teaches an introductory statistics course to biology
students there.
His ACTON career began in 2004 as part of the Data Products
Team. He became Director of Modeling and Statistical Analysis in
2005. His job is to oversee the proprietary TasC Model processes
that determine the best mailing routes for ACTON's clients.
"ACTON's TasC Model is very successful, " says Zach. "It
identifies the best of the best carrier routes to mail to, the
ones where the most accounts will be opened, to help the client
get the biggest result for the money spent."
Fabien Jeutong, Ph.D., Data Mining Specialist
Fabien's extensive background in statistics and his
knowledge of SAS, Model 1 and other statistical analysis
tools have placed him in the forefront of ACTON's analysis
efforts. Fabien has participated in many successful analysis
and modeling projects for clients that include UNICEF and
Charles Schwab.
Dr. Jeutong joined ACTON in 2000. As a specialist in
statistics and analytical methods, he explores and analyzes
corporate data and provides recommendations for future
marketing campaigns. He has been the driving force behind
the development, testing and implementation of ACTON's
Financial Services TasC predictive model for its Checking
Account Marketing program.
Fabien came to the United States from Cameroon to study
agronomy and received his Ph.D. in Agronomy/Plant Breeding
in 1996, and a Masters Degree in Biometry (Applied
Statistics) in 1997, from the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln. After one year of post-doctorate training
in statistical programming/analysis for agricultural and
pharmaceutical research industires, he entered a second
Ph.D. program, studying statistics. In January 2001, Fabien
earned a second Masters Degree in statistics (Theoretical
Statistics) and became ACTON's full-time statistician.

Natalie Schneider, M.S., Statistician and Data Control
Specialist
ACTON had the great fortune to hire Natalie as a statistical
intern while she was finishing her Master's Degree
requirements. That gave us the chance to employ her fulltime
once she earned her MS in statistics at the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln.
Now she processes and prepares client data for the modeling
process performed by ACTON's TasC Model software. Once the
data has run through TasC, Natalie selects carrier routes
for her clients and develops final mail recommendations. Her
duties also include programming and statistical analysis for
ad hoc reports that clients request.
Natalie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Nebraska's Doane
College with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and
computer science. She was on Doane's Dean's List for eight
semesters.
During her leisure time, Natalie plays wheelchair basketball
for a team in Lincoln and as a fly-in at the University of
Arizona. She also plays sitting volleyball for a team in
Omaha. Natalie has participated in the Relay for Life for
the American Cancer Society each year since 2000.
