In early October, ACTON Marketing clients, staff, and other marketing professionals
gathered in Santa Rosa, California, in the heart of Sonoma County to share ideas,
hear about the latest trends in financial services marketing, and network with each
other during social activities and buzz sessions.
The symposium’s featured topic, "Gen Y to Baby Boomers: Segmenting Your
Markets," was accredited by the Institute of Certified Bankers.
Our keynote speaker was Jason Dorsey, known nationally as The Gen Y Guy. Other presentations
focused on social media marketing as an emerging technology and resource.
Like previous ACTON Marketing symposiums, the topics ranged from the latest developments
and tests for financial services marketing to proven best practices that can be
implemented when those attending return home.
The symposium was also the chance to introduce ACTON Market Intelligence, a new
division of ACTON Marketing that provides valuable statistical data and consumer-collected
information about all areas of financial services.
