Financial Services / Account Management

Sean Mulvaney, Senior Vice President, Financial Services

If you're looking for someone who has packed a huge amount of banking and sales experience into a short time, then look up Sean. Before he joined ACTON Marketing in 2005, he worked for U.S. Bank, one of the nation's largest banks with offices in 25 states, where he finished in the top one-percent of referral sales among the bank's regional tellers. That led to a promotion to Personal Banking Officer/Sales and Service Manager where he finished in the top six-percent among his peers, company-wide, for total sales in both 2000 and 2001.

Sean moved to Information Technology Inc., a division of Fiserv, where he learned banking from the hardware and solution development side of the business. His salesmanship led to a promotion to the sales side as a Program Manager and produced an invitation to present at ITI's 2005 national convention.

At ACTON Marketing, Sean manages the company's largest client accounts and works with the sales team to make presentations to clients and prospective clients.

Sean holds a Business Administration/Marketing Management degree and an Associate of Applied Science degree. He has a Certified Financial Marketing Professional designation from The Institute of Certified Bankers. In 2007, he graduated from the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management.

Frank Metzger, Senior Vice President Loan Acquisition Programs

When it comes to recommending loan programs to financial institutions, Frank certainly has the experience it takes. He's been connected to the credit union industry since 1985 and was the Senior VP at Team Automotive Group in Indianapolis, where he directed marketing and loan promotional campaigns for credit unions across the country.

Earlier, Frank was the president and CEO of a Credit Union Service Organization owned by a large credit union that had local and international offices. He developed one of the first auto buyer services and auto dealer networks in the Midwest, responsible for generating thousands of auto loans each year.

Before joining ACTON Marketing, Frank was a national manager for the nationwide consumer list and credit report provider, Experian. There he developed and implemented marketing strategies, developed new products, and directed loan promotional campaigns.

Jayme Shelton, Vice President, Financial Services

As shown by his past experiences, Jayme is a detail-oriented guy — a very important quality in his Account Executive position at ACTON. While most of ACTON's clients use our Checking Account Customer Acquisition program, Jayme works with clients who need services beyond the basic checking program. Organization and the ability to juggle multiple client projects are essential to Jayme's daily routine.

Before coming to ACTON, Jayme spent over five years supporting banks at Information Technology, Inc. (ITI) in Lincoln. He was as a quality control analyst who assisted in the testing and support of bank teller systems. Prior to that, he was a teller for US Bank.

Jayme's attention to detail began long before he entered the workplace. He was honored as the Freshman Biology Student of the Year during his time at Northeast Community College. He was also given the responsibility of presenting ITI's new accounts platform solution at the company's national conference in 2005.

Outside of the office Jayme is involved in church organizations, including helping families in need with repair projects on their homes.

Amy Cosgrove, Chief of Staff

Already having banking and marketing experience from her employment at National Bank of Commerce, Amy joined ACTON Marketing's Financial Services Department in 1996. Among her duties, she is responsible for sales and services to select financial services clients, including needs assessments for additional sales and client satisfaction.

Amy makes occasional appearances at new client kick-off training, but family responsibilities keep her grounded in Lincoln instead of flying to mystery shopping assignments as she did in the past. Today, Amy spends more time on the administrative side of Financial Services while she still tracks the training and mystery shopping needs of our clients. She's also learning the details of the auto loan marketing program and she helps the sales staff stationed outside of Lincoln keep up with information from the Lincoln office.

Angela Hengelfelt, Market Manager, ACTON Market Intelligence

When ACTON Market Intelligence, the consumer research division of ACTON Marketing, issues a new statistical report, Angela needs the expertise to explain the report's contents to other math and statistics specialists while also making her descriptions clear to people in the marketing, executive, and other departments.

Angela joined ACTON Marketing part-time, but quickly moved into a full-time position. She not only promotes the syndicated AMI reports, she also contacts individuals who might be interested in the custom research AMI conducts. She's also in charge of ACTON Market Intelligence mail and email campaigns.

Angela was a Pepsi Service Scholar at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she studied mechanical engineering for two years. She had an internship with a structural steel engineering firm during that time. She switched to Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, and changed her major to mathematics.
